Tommy is a 26 year old paint gelding. He is owned by a client but we are lucky enough to be able to use this wise boy for easy lessons to keep him exercised. Tommy is great at introducing kids to horses. He is the slowest moving horse in the barn. He is sweet and easy to ride. He might also be the flashiest. He is a special guy for sure.
Twinkie is a 23 year old Haflinger gelding. He is the happiest horse in the barn and loves to be bathed and groomed. He is an expert at teaching students to steer their horse. His wide back and smooth jog makes him feel like a comfy couch. We swear he knows he is supposed to halt square for dressage. He loves spending time with his best friend Nibbles. We are so lucky to have him in our barn.
Bindi is a 15 year old quarter horse mare. Bindi is our advanced lesson horse because loves to canter. She is super friendly and will follow you around wanting to be scratched. She loves to go to shows and excels at showmanship. We think she knows how pretty she is. She is smooth and nearly reads your mind when you are in the saddle. Our students are so lucky to be able to ride her.
Nibbles is a 25 year old bay quarter horse. He prides himself in making everyone feel like a cowgirl or cowboy. He specializes in introducing people to horses for the first time. He is also a good at staying calm even if his rider is nervous. He has given many of our current students their first taste of the canter. He loves being groomed and enjoys spending time outside with his best friend Twinkie. He is a truly special boy.
Bling is a 15 year old Thoroughbred gelding. This tall boy has a lovely big trot. He loves doing dressage. He takes his job very seriously and wants to get all the questions right. He is easy to ride and gets you there in just a few steps.He prefers to spend his time outside with his herd of bachelors. He is a student favorite. We love having him around.
Daisy is a 24 year old grade paint pony. She is the shortest of all our horses. Her size makes it so even the shortest rider can reach to brush her back. She is great at teaching kids to post since she is a little extra bouncy. Fun fact about Daisy she has one blue and one brown eye. Daisy will look something spooking straight in the eye and then roll her eyes. Daisy loves trail riding and spending time with her best friend Bindi. We love having this confident girl teaching kids.
Our lesson horse are our hardest working employees. Each special horse has taught multiple students many great lessons both in the arena and out. We value our horses and are thankful to have each one in the barn.
